Kickin For A Kure Kickin For A Kure is an annual fundraising event for LLS held in memory of Darlene Moy. The organization is the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS).

Seven years ago, I lost my wife, Darlene who was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma and acute myeloid leukemia. I’m reaching out to you today in hopes of giving back to an organization that gives so much to people who deal with these diseases every day. LLS was there for my family during our time of need and they also help many families in South Texas. According to the organization’s mission statem

ent, its goal is to “cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease, and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and families.” The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, the nonprofit organization serves 92 counties, including Wilson and Karnes. The society aids families with support groups and patient financial-aid programs.
