The Texas Bluebonnet Chapter is excited about the upcoming
El Paso SG Virtual meeting! (Scheduled bi-monthly, please note it is at 11:30am MDT and not 10:30am as usual).

We are very happy to announce that Dr. Sanjay Chabra will be joining as a guest speaker!!

Dr. Sanjay Chabra is a rheumatologist and Director of Rheumatology at the Texas Arthritis Center in west El Paso, where he sees both pediatric and adult patients. Dr. Chabra is board certified in rheumatology and internal medicine. He completed his internship and residency at Banner Good Samaritan Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona. His rheumatology fellowship was completed at the University of California Irvine.

Dr. Chabra has a passion for using evidence-based medicine and as such is involved in many ongoing clinical trials. He is NIH and GCP certified for clinical trials and currently functions as principal and sub-principal investigator on nearly ten gold-standard trials. Subjects include usefulness of biologics as well as tolerance, safety, and effect on outcome for new agents.

UPDATE: Our meeting tomorrow will be rescheduled to February 28th. Many of us have been impacted by the weather and outages and are just now getting back on track. So to allow for more time to recover and regroup we will meet on the 28th. Thank you for your understanding and we hope you can join us then.

We are so grateful for the participants that joined our first meeting of the year this past Sunday. We had 19 participants from Texas, Alabama, California, Pennsylvania, and even New Zealand!

Special thank you to Dr. Khorsandi for taking the time on a Sunday afternoon for talking with us on such an important topic with hand involvement in Scleroderma.

Keep an eye out for details on our next meeting February 21st at 3pm.
