Think about the small things that brighten your day: a favorite song, a quick prayer, a neighbor waving from across the street.

Joy isn't accidental, but it's made up of the moments we create, the things we nurture, and the things we offer to the people around us. Sometimes that joy comes in the form of a sack lunch, and other times it comes in the form of a prayerful community.

On this National Day of Joy, at The Salvation Army San Antonio, we’re choosing to add little sparks of joy to our day, and to pass them along to someone who needs a lift.✨

Happy National Day of Joy! 💛

A father’s love has a way of anchoring a family, offering stability when life feels uncertain and encouragement when the road gets tough ⚓️

His influence is not limited to one generation, but rather ripples outward, shaping who we become and how we love others.

Today, at The Salvation Army San Antonio, we honor the dads and father figures who lead with heart and strengthen the families in our community.❤️

Happy Father’s Day from all of us! 👔✨

Juneteenth marks the end of slavery in the United States. A day of freedom long delayed, and a reminder of the generations who endured unimaginable injustice.

It is a time to remember, to honor, and to reflect on the lives, stories, and courage of those who fought for liberation.

But Juneteenth also calls us to look honestly at the present, because while slavery was legally abolished, exploitation and modern slavery still exist today, affecting vulnerable individuals and communities across our nation.

The Salvation Army continues that fight today through our anti‑human trafficking programs, walking alongside survivors with love, safety, dignity, compassion, and hope.

We believe honoring the past means choosing how we live today, supporting one another, extending grace, treating every person with respect, and serving in ways that protect freedom and uphold humanity.

At every summer camp, young lives are shaped in the most beautiful ways: around campfires, in cabins, during worship, and through friendships that last long after the season ends. ☀️

Because of your generosity, children in San Antonio get to enjoy a summer filled with adventure and encouragement, at a place where they can feel safe, have fun, and discover who God made them to be.

Your kindness opens the door to memories they’ll carry for years! 💛✨
