This Thursday, April 2, between 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., the Texas Department of Emergency Management will conduct a statewide Public Warning System drill. 📢

During the test, you may:

-Receive an alert on your phone
-See messages on local TV or radio
-Hear outdoor warning sirens

No action is needed! This is only a test to ensure emergency systems are working properly and ready for real emergencies.

If you hear or see an alert on April 2, it is just a drill.

You can help keep San Antonio families together during the upcoming freeze! ❄️

Many families need extra support to keep their pets safe and warm. Donations of dog houses, new or gently used blankets, sealed bags of pet food, and pet beds can make a life-saving difference for pets right here in our community. Our Animal Care Officers will be distributing supplies this weekend in local neighborhoods to families most in need.

🛑 The Metal Recycling Task Force Needs YOU! 🛑
📅 Meeting: 04-16-25 | 🕑 1:30 PM (to sign up for public comment) | 📍 1901 S. Alamo(upstairs conference room)
Yesterday, Industry Representatives gave what felt like an infomercial, claiming that the rust, dust, and grime our neighbors are seeing is all in our heads.
Let’s make sure the real voices of the community are heard. Your voice matters. Your presence makes a difference.

We need public speakers to arrive by 1:30 PM and share their experiences at our 2:00 PM meeting.
You don’t need to stay for the full two hours—public comment is first on the agenda. You also have the option to speak at the end of the meeting around 4:45 PM.
🗣️ Speak up. 📣 Show up. 💪 Stand with us.

REPORT all sightings of smoke, fire or dust to TCEQ. Without a report- IT DID NOT HAPPEN.
The TCEQ (Texas Commission on Environmental Quality) 24-hour line is 1-800-832-8224.
You can remain anonymous 🙈
