🌟 We are honored to recognize Dawn Dixon as the 2027 TEAMability Legacy Award recipient at our Annual Two Step Gala in March 2027!

For decades, Dawn has been a champion for individuals with disabilities and their families, dedicating her career to expanding access, opportunity, dignity, and support throughout our community. As the founding Executive Director of ConnectAbility and a lifelong advocate, her leadership has helped countless individuals connect with the resources they need to thrive.

Her impact reminds us what is possible when one person chooses to lead with purpose and compassion.

This is what community-powered innovation looks like: different people, perspectives, talents, and resources coming together around one big idea, creating new possibilities and greater access for people of all abilities.

Learning how to allow our patients to access communication while understanding that not one approach fits all. We honor all modes of communication and believe that ever person is capable of learning, thinking, and understanding, even if they cannot show it in traditional ways. At TEAMability, we believe in not only teaching ourselves, but patients, families, and friends to encourage patience and spread awareness.🌟✨💛
