LiftFund is a community based business lender also known as a Community Financial Development Institution (CDFI). We provide loans ranging from $500 to $250,000 to diverse entrepreneurs seeking a path to financial well being and building their opportunities to grow as business owners. We serve thirteen states, serve startups, minorities, veterans and women-owned businesses. We love our work, our clients and our communities.

What does investing in your next stage of growth look like?

For Sam Reed of AlphaGraphics, it wasn't just one thing.

After nearly 15 years of building his business, Sam used financing through LiftFund and the City of Irving to:

✏️Restructure business debt
✏️Add two employees to his team
✏️ Invest in equipment that expanded the company's capabilities

And the momentum is building. This summer, AlphaGraphics recorded the second-best revenue month in its history. Sam is quick to point out that growth is never the result of just one factor, but says the financing "definitely played a role."

“We are more than a store. We are a source of comfort, stability, and strength, especially in times of crisis.”

On World Pharmacists Day, we're recognizing the important role neighborhood pharmacies can play in the communities they serve.

For 100 years, Webster's Community Pharmacy has been part of Altadena. When the Eaton Fire devastated the community, many of Webster's longtime customers lost their homes. The pharmacy faced its own challenges, including a 40% loss of customers, but its commitment to Altadena never wavered.

After the community lost its post office, Webster's partnered with USPS to establish a postal counter inside the pharmacy, helping restore access to essential mail services. Its gift department also provided space for local artists and makers, including small business owners impacted by the fire who were beginning to rebuild.

Following the fires, support from a LiftFund disaster recovery grant helped Webster's invest in expanding its pharmacy capabilities and continue serving the community that has relied on it since 1926.

Today, we're celebrating pharmacists and neighborhood pharmacies that provide more than prescriptions. They provide familiarity, connection, and care. ❤️‍🩹

At LiftFund, supporting our community starts with our people.

Through our recent Back-to-School fundraising initiative, LiftFund employees came together to raise $815 for Margil Elementary, a school located in the community surrounding our headquarters. Our team recently visited the school to present the donation and learn more about the needs facing Margil students and families, including housing instability and student homelessness.
