Centro Cultural Aztlan was founded in 1977 with a vision to build upon the traditions of Chicano/a, Latino/a, and indigenous peoples by creating cultural programs that involve local artists and increase public awareness of their work. We continue to serve this mission today through our commitment to preserving and promoting Chicano/a, Latino/a, and indigenous arts and culture, and through our commitment to diversity, education, and promotion of local artists. Supporting Centro Cultural Aztlan means supporting the continuation of Chicano/a, Latino/a, and indigenous culture, art, and community.

Our gallery is also excited to announce that we are celebrating 50 years in June of 2027. Centro Cultural Aztlan is proud to celebrate over 45 years of annual programs, serving thousands of artists in our exhibits over the years, and our new second gallery that was added in 2024. Centro Aztlan has been drawing increasingly large crowds with each new gallery reception, and it is all due to the support of the community year after year.
