S.A.M.G.A. San Antonio Minority Golf Association (SAMGA) The purpose of the SAMGA is to:
1. Promote the game of golf;
2.

Assist other golf associations and golf courses in the San Antonio and surrounding communities in establishing or conducting golf programs and conducting competitive events among its members through a regular program of activities and social functions;
3. Assist the youth of said communities by enhancing their productivity and involvement in becoming good community citizens;
4. Maintain a unif

orm system of handicapping as set forth in the USGA Handicap System and issue USGA Handicap Indexes to the members; and
5. Provide an authoritative body to govern and conduct club competitions.
