We are deeply saddened by the loss of longtime TOP member and Dallas community leader Sylvia Collins.

Sylvia was a fierce advocate for social justice and a powerful voice in our community. She often stood with her fist raised high - a symbol of her unwavering commitment to the causes and people she fought for.

Sylvia was among those who lost their lives in the apartment explosion earlier this week. Our hearts are with her family, friends, and all those impacted by this tragedy. Her legacy of courage, advocacy, and service will not be forgotten.

Texas has the largest Black population of any state in the country. To win Texas is to engage, court, and build deep relationships with Black voters.

Between 2022 to 2024 we have engaged 1.5 million Texans through our BlackTOP program.

We’re fired up and ready to take on Paxton and work with Talarico to win Texas.
