We have a saying at SNIPSA: It always comes in threes 🤗

That’s right — we had three adoptions among our SNIPSA staff, just days apart from one another.

Kayla, our lead technician, has grown her fur family of two dogs, four cats, a leopard gecko, a hermit crab and two fish tanks. Her new baby, Dimitri, is a medical anomaly — as a ten week old kitten, he only weighs 0.75 pounds, and he will require ongoing, specialized care to thrive. 🏥

Reagan is a part-time technician at SNIPSA, and she has also fostered for us for years! She owns two cats named Scam Likely and Bookmark, a Great Dane named Duke, and now, another one of our tinies; Princess Donut 👑

Hayley is our senior marketing coordinator and she has never adopted during her four years at SNIPSA… until now! After losing her soul dog in October, she met Nori when she arrived at SNIPSA with her “mom” and four other kittens. Nori is now a beloved companion to her partner’s cat, Soup. 🥣

Congratulations everyone! We know you will make the best pet parents 💓😉

Meet our summer interns, Morgan and Sofia 💕☀️

Morgan is a Marketing major at Notre Dame in Indiana. She is a long-term SNIPSA volunteer and has decided to lend us her skills this summer to build her marketing portfolio as she enters the professional world!

Sofia is a Psychology major at Trinity University in San Antonio. She has joined our outreach and events department with the hope of forming new connections as she learns more about social networking and community engagement.

If you see these girls around the office, be sure to say hi! We are so lucky to have them as a part of our rescue team for the next couple of months. ☺️

How is Giggy still waiting? 🤎

Seriously. We ask ourselves that every day.

Giggy has spent months watching other dogs leave for their forever homes while she patiently waits for her turn. And through it all, she’s remained the same sweet, gentle girl.

She’s fantastic with other dogs, loves being part of the action, and has a special soft spot for puppies. In the office, she’s calm, easygoing, and perfectly happy to nap by your desk while you work. At home, she’s the kind of dog who quietly becomes your shadow—the one always nearby, ready for walks, couch time, or simply keeping you company.

She may be a little shy when meeting new people, but once she trusts you, you’ll have a best friend for life.

Giggy isn’t looking for anything fancy. Just a family to finally call her own. 🏡

🚨 A hot new bombshell has entered the villa… 🚨

Meet Herman! 🐾

He’s a certified cuddle king who loves long walks, car rides for coffee downtown, and playing fetch with squeaky toys. His biggest green flag? He always takes treats gently. 💚

He’s looking for someone who enjoys a calmer lifestyle, wants a loyal adventure buddy, and doesn’t mind sharing the big bed. He gets along great with other dogs, can live with confident cats, and is happiest when he’s included in all the family fun.

He may be a little shy when you first meet, but give him some time, and you’ll see he’s a total people-pleaser who’s ready for a lifelong connection. 💞
