Army Tailgate for UTSA game

They have finally announced the time of the Army vs UTSA game. It will be on Saturday, 29 November 2025. Game time is at 2:30 PM (San Antonio time). Ticket for the Army section is at the link on our Sallyport page

With this new information, we have set the tailgate to start at 11:00 AM at the Atlee Rally sports bar. This is along Hoefgen St across from the Espee (a little closer to the stadium than our tailgate a couple of years ago.) They accept cash or cards. It will be a pay as you go event. Heiman St will be closed for us in front of the bar and food trucks will be located on the street. Should anyone want to hang out and watch the game at the Atlee Rally it will be on the TV’s. PLEASE register on the above link so we can ensure adequate staffing at the Atlee Rally.

34th Tri-Academy Golf Challenge!!
When: Saturday, 28 September 2024. Hosted by USMA.
Where: Fort Sam Houston Golf Course
Time: 1130 Check-in, 1230 Shotgun Start, Awards to follow (Approximately 1700)
Format: Team scramble. No handicap restrictions. One mulligan per player included.Modified Callaway adjustment for team NET scores
Prizes: Foursome team prizes based on NET Callaway scores. Modest prizes for senior andjunior classes participating. Closest to pin (2).

Traveling Trophy to the Academywith the lowest average of ALL its NET scores.

Eligibility: Grads, spouses, relatives, cadet parents, any friend of the academies. You mayarrange your own group or sign up individually (we will pair you).

Army vs Navy Viewing Party

Rock and Brews is military friendly and did a great job taking care of us at the Army vs USAFA viewing party. Bring the family and watch Army win the Commander-in-Chiefs Trophy!

The West Point Society of South Texas invites all graduates and friends to celebrate the 221st Anniversary of the Founding of West Point on March 25th, 2023 at the San Antonio Country Club.

We are honored to have COL Corey James (USMA '99), Deputy Department Head, Department of Chemistry and Life Science, U.S. Military Academy, as our Guest Speaker.

DRESS. Military: Dress/Mess Blues. Civilian: Black tie or dark suit. Ladies: Evening gown or cocktail dress.

PRICE & PAYMENT. The price is $76 per person for members and their guests and $90 per person for non-members and their guests. If your 2023 dues (only $25!) are paid prior to the deadline, you will be eligible for the member price. A paper registration form will also be mailed out to our current mailing list. Membership dues can be paid through the Society Memberships page on Sallyport (https://sallyport.westpointaog.org/topics/10452/memberships) or by contacting Mark Escobedo at (210) 563-0351.

DEADLINE. Reservations must be received no later than Tuesday, March 21, 2023. No refunds will be made for cancellations after that date. Questions regarding reservations should be directed to Ed Clukey at (210) 669-1852.

MENU. Dinner menu selections include two choices: (Beef) Marinated Sliced Sirloin Tender, Confit Marble Potatoes, Baby Carrots, Mushroom Red Wine Sauce; or (Chicken) Chicken Roulade, Sundried Tomato Pilau Rice, Stewed Green Beans with Tomatoes, Truffle Parmesan Sauce. Each meal will include an Entrée, House Salad with Dressing, Rolls, Coffee, Iced Tea upon request, and Almond Crunch Cake, Vanilla & Raspberry Sauces, Fresh Strawberry, Whipped Cream for dessert. One glass of wine is included for toasts.
