A colorful FUNdraiser that will keep your toes warm 👣as the Fall weather begins to cool us down…

Okay, we owe you the answer to last week’s clue. 😂

You guessed blanket. Sweater. Winter hat....

Not one person guessed socks!!

So here they are: the limited edition “Y’all in?” Donate Life Texas socks, and our campaign, A Little Sole. A Lot of Heart. 💙💚

We’re aiming to get 1,000 Texans wearing these socks. Why? Because when someone spots them and asks, “What does Y’all in? mean?”—that’s a chance to talk about organ, eye and tissue donation, and share what the decision means to you.

One conversation can travel from one person to their family, then to a friend, then to someone else. That’s the ripple we hope to create.

You can only get them through December 15, with proceeds supporting Donate Life Texas. After that, this limited edition design will be gone!

Yesterday evening, our team member Candie appreciated the opportunity to present to the members of the Cuero Citizens Police Alumni Association in Cuero, Texas.

“They were so engaged in learning more about donation and had so many questions!”

The association works closely with the Cuero Police Department to build community engagement, education, and transparency. Their volunteerism is known to have contributed to a community culture of transparency and mutual respect with law enforcement.

Thank you to Sherry, donor sister and association member for inviting us to present.

It may be the first day of fall, but across most of Texas, it still feels a whole lot like summer.

In the donation and transplant community, though, a new season means something more.

For someone who received a transplant, it’s another season they once weren’t sure they would see.

For someone waiting, it’s another season hoping the call will come.

And for donor families, it can be another season of missing someone deeply,while knowing their love and generosity are still moving through the world.

Fall reminds us that change can hold grief and hope at the same time. And that one decision can give someone the chance to experience seasons they thought they had lost.
