Founded in 2022, The Gonzaba Foundation for Healthier Communities was established to provide resources to the elderly population in San Antonio. The Foundation is committed to providing programs designed in collaboration with city leaders and influential senior advocates. The goal of the programming provided by the Foundation is to change the lives of older adults in the community. The Foundation has an unparalleled connection to the San Antonio community and is well-positioned to drive meaningful change. This Día de los Mu***os, we invite our older adults 60+ to The Gonzaba Foundation to help us create a space to remember the people who shaped us, loved us, and remain part of our stories.

Bring a photograph of someone dear to you and help us fill our altar with love and wonderful memories.

Grab your walking shoes, Walk N Talk starts TOMORROW! 👟💙

We’re kicking off a brand-new Walk N Talk series with our friends at AgriLife Bexar County!

Join us tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. at The Gonzaba Foundation as we learn about simple ways to build healthier habits, add more fruits and vegetables to our diets, and enjoy some tasty samples along the way.

And yes, we really mean WALK N Talk! 😄 We’ll be heading outside and taking a walk around the block together, so don’t forget to wear your comfortable walking shoes.

Give it up for our Heart Health graduates! 🎓👏💙

Our older adults completed a Heart Health series with Texas A&M AgriLife Extension, learning about cholesterol, blood pressure, stroke warning signs, and ways to take better care of their heart health.

Congratulations to our graduates for investing in their health, and THANK YOU to the AgriLife team for another great series! 💙

So…what’s next? 👀👟
