Germania Chor Founded in 1996, a mixed chorus in San Antonio, primarily in the German language

San Antonio’s Germania Chor is comprised of men and women, who lend their voices to preserve secular and religious German music through their dedicated efforts. Led by Veronika Kuest, this group performs throughout the city at various venues.

We are saddened to announce the passing of Mark Richter, who contributed greatly to many organizations including ours with his talent, time, and friendship. We shall miss him greatly.

Mark Richter, founding artistic and general director of Alamo City Opera, died Sunday night at age 51.
