That's right. At the end of our book club journey, participants will have the opportunity to meet **Katrina Kennedy**, author of *Learning That Lasts*, for a special discussion and Q&A.

This is your chance to connect directly with the author, ask questions, and explore the ideas behind the book with fellow learning and development professionals.

Learning doesn't have to stop when the workday ends.

Join us for Learning After Dark: Learning That Lasts, an 8-week virtual book club for learning and development professionals who want to connect, reflect, and grow alongside fellow practitioners.

We'll explore Learning That Lasts by Katrina Kennedy, share ideas, discuss real-world application, and learn from one another in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

The world of learning is evolving quickly, and our community is ready for fresh ideas, practical solutions, and experiences that challenge the way we think about learning and development.

At the ATD San Antonio Annual Conference, LEAPS 2026: The Remix – Remix Your Learning, we're looking for bold thinkers, speakers, facilitators, and practitioners who are ready to share ideas that move beyond traditional presentations and create meaningful learning experiences.

We're looking for sessions that are:
✅ Interactive and engaging
✅ Grounded in real-world application
✅ Packed with practical tools participants can use immediately
✅ Designed to spark new thinking and meaningful conversations

Last night, we had the opportunity to come together for The Power of P3™: A Mid-Year Reset for Passion, Persistence, and Purpose.

Through engaging discussions, practical insights, and meaningful reflection activities, attendees explored how Passion, Persistence, and Purpose (P3) can help create momentum toward goals that feel both intentional and achievable.

Whether those goals are personal or professional, big or small, the evening served as a powerful reminder that progress begins with clarity of purpose and a commitment to keep moving forward.

A special thank you to our guest speaker, Eileen Suarez, for sharing her expertise and guiding such an impactful conversation.

We would also like to thank La-Tea-Da San Antonio for providing a warm and inviting setting that made the evening even more special.

Thank you to everyone who joined us. We loved spending the evening learning, reflecting, and growing together.

Rain? Absolutely.
Dry clothes? Not exactly.
Fun? 100%.

Several ATD San Antonio board members gathered at the Frost Center last night for a Spurs watch party, and while the weather had other plans (we got completely soaked), it didn’t stop us from having a great time together.

While the game didn’t end with the outcome we were hoping for, the real win was the opportunity to connect, laugh, and enjoy the kind of community that makes this chapter so special.

Sometimes the best memories come from the moments that don’t go according to plan.

While the overall member experience you know and love is staying familiar, we’ve made some exciting improvements behind the scenes, including a new member portal with exclusive resources designed just for our members.

That means easier access to the tools, content, and chapter resources that support your professional growth as part of our ATD San Antonio community.

Not a member? You’ll still be able to access important public-facing information, including how to become a member, volunteer opportunities, chapter updates, and more.

This update was all about creating a stronger, more seamless experience for our community while continuing to make ATD San Antonio accessible to those looking to get involved.

What an incredible few days at !

Several of our ATD San Antonio board members had the opportunity to attend this year’s conference, where we made new connections, spent meaningful time together as a board, and came home energized with fresh, actionable ideas to make our chapter even stronger.

Conferences like this are such a powerful reminder that talent development is not just about content. It is about community, shared learning, and bringing new ideas back to the people we serve.

The learning may have happened in LA, but the impact is coming home with us!

Thank you to everyone who made such an energizing experience.
