Feeding San Antonio's Homeless Faith Kitchen™ welcomes all who are hungry to come and eat. We serve an average of 900-1000 meals each day.

When our homeless guests join us at the Bistro, a hot meal is often their first step to hope. We provides three hot, nutritional meals, 365 days a year, at the South Campus (formerly the Courtyard) at Haven for Hope and at an off-site downtown location. Sack lunches are also provided for those who work in the community & medicinal meals are provided for those who need food to take medication. We rely heavily on volunteers and donors to help us meet our goals and ensure that all those we serve are treated with dignity and compassion. We are an IRS 501(c)3 non-profit. Our recent visit from Rhonda Mundhenk, the CEO of Haven for Hope, was such a hit, we wanted to post about it again!! 😁

Check out some photos of Rhonda joining our Executive Chef, Lorris Gibson Jr., and our kitchen staff member, Charles, making an amazing dinner-- carne guisada, spanish rice, garden salad, fresh flour tortillas, and dessert. WOW!!!! 🫶

What a wonderful way to celebrate on the day of the Big Give! We had a very special guest at Faith Kitchen today, Rhonda Mundhenk, the President and CEO of Haven for Hope, who joined our Executive Chef, Lorris, and kitchen staff, Charles, in preparing dinner for our guests this evening. She was a natural!! 😄

It's almost here! Faith Kitchen's Community Fair is just a couple of weeks away! This is a family friendly event that we are hosting in partnership with Chicken N Pickle - San Antonio in recognition of Hunger Action Month and spreading awareness about the issue of food insecurity impacting our community.

Learn about other resources in our community from nonprofits and small businesses that will be present. 💙 Hope to see you there!

It is Hunger Action Month- a time to bring awareness to the issue of food insecurity and all of the lives that are impacted by it.

From children to older adults, veterans, mothers, fathers, sons, and daughters- food insecurity is a very real thing.

We at Faith Kitchen strive every single day to serve a hot, fresh, and nutritious meal to our neighbors not only facing the over whelming challenge of homelessness, but who have also faced food insecurity.

Join us in our mission to ensure that EVERYONE has access to a meal! We can do this together!! 💙
