Rom 1:17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. This scripture raises a question to me as I read it, am I in faith today? When I think of things in the past about what I did or did do, what I gave and did not give, or maybe what happen and didn’t happen in my past does it make me uneasy about today or tomorrow? Where is the faith in that? If it was something wrong or bad that you did and you are worrying about it than you haven’t put it under the blood of our Lord and savior but still holding on to it because he said he will make all things new, We need to put our faith in him and not in what we did in the past. Or, maybe it was a good thing you did for someone like giving a gift or doing a nice thing for someone and then they turn around and miss treat you or you never see a return on your gift? First question I ask myself when I feel this way is what is my motive for doing the good deed or giving the gift, if it isn’t to love and bless someone because it was in your heart to do so then it was just a selfish motive to get back something. In giving to be a blessing no matter what may return to you is living in the realm of being more blessed to give than to receive that our Lord spoke about. When I give to get it is a form of payment and not in line with giving at all just like work you give your time so the boss will give you money but if the boss doesn’t give you money you won’t give your time, that is not true giving. True giving is of faith, because not matter what happens I am going to give and I believe God will see all and will reward me if they never return anything back to me at all. Husbands and wives hold back their love from one another because they never feel it return to them so why bother? But that attitude will never end the standoff, how could it? All they are thinking about is themselves and so they will not give in until they receive, but if you give in faith you always have a chance of a return. Someone needs to make the 1st move towards the other before any change can happen. This is true in any relationship like mother daughter, brothers, or co-workers it is the same principle in all relationships. Look at our own relationship with God it is Him that came after us and gave just because He loved even if so many reject it even as most of us did for many years of our lives, yet He continued to love us. Again the Question is am I in faith today? Am I believing God for that situation, that relationship, and or that condition? Does worry, fear and despair arise at the thought of it? True faith is at peace and joyful and excited not about what was or is but what will be. Are you in faith today?

All things are possible if you can believe.

We can have the same attitude of faith that Abraham had who is called the father of faith. AS children of Abraham (Gal 3:29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise) we to can walk in God's best for our health, for our relationships, for our finances, and for every arena in life.

A man with a faith attitude is like this, "And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara's womb: He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform. (Rom. 4:19-21)

Fairh opens the door to grace, Rom. 4: 16 "of faith that it might be by grace " you believe then you receive is how you get what you need from God. Ask according to His will and you will receive. Read Rom. 5:2 also The grace is there for all who will believe, 1st belief, 2nd grace, 3rd Joy.

You can tell when someone is in faith and in doubt by what they say and what they do. Faith has an attitude about it that it won't be denied. "Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus" (Act 4:13).

Faith and doubt are both spiritual forces that can be perceived by all and transfered to all. Israel is a good example of this when they sent out the 12 men to spy out the promise land that God had given them. When they returned 10 came back in doubt and unbelieve of what God told them and 2 cam back in faith knowing they were well able to take the land.

Faith and doubt have a voice through our lips. you can locate what camp you are in by what is coming out of your mouth. Are your words words of faith or doubt? If we listen to our words we know what is abundantly in us.

"A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh" (Luk 6:45).

"My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge"(Hos 4:6) Not knowing what God says and promises us is one of the main reasons that the people of God are sick, weak, and in need and the sinner continues in sin. When we read the word of God we not only gain knowledge of his will but faith as well. "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God" (Rom 10:17).
