Please bring an ID or utility bill with the address of the impacted home.

We are at the Crystal City Lions Club at 315 W Zavala from 11am to 5pm, or until supplies are out.

📱Turning Field Experience Into Smarter Disaster Relief📱
During our Crystal City Flood Relief response, our club didn’t just deploy supplies and volunteers; we put a new tool to work.

Our club developed a Disaster Relief Registration Application designed to make relief operations faster, more organized and easier for volunteers to manage in the field.

That means volunteers can quickly see what a household has already received, what assistance is still available, and confirm distributions on the spot.

Crystal City has become its first real-world testing ground.

We’re learning, improving and building a tool we believe can strengthen our future disaster response efforts and ultimately be made available to other Lions clubs to support their own relief missions.

$18,000 for Crystal City Flood Recovery 🦁The SABN Lions Club & Foundation has secured $18,000 in disaster relief grants to continue supporting families impacted by the Crystal City floods.

Serving Crystal City, Together 💙🦁 Yesterday was a powerful day of service in Crystal City. Thanks to an incredible team of Lions and volunteers, we distributed Family Recovery Totes, bottled water, meals and other supplies to families continuing to recover from the recent flooding.

More than the supplies, yesterday was about showing up, listening and letting families know they are not alone in their recovery.

A huge THANK YOU to every volunteer who gave their time, energy and heart to make yesterday possible!

💙 Volunteers Needed | Crystal City Flood Relief

Join our Club and the Crystal City Lions Club on Sunday, August 9 as we help families recover from the recent floods.

Our goal is to serve up to 200 households with recovery totes filled with bottled water, cleanup supplies, PPE, personal hygiene items, and shelf-stable food.

We're looking for volunteers to help with:
📦 Packing & distributing totes
📝 Family registration & check-in (tech-savvy volunteers needed)
💪 Loading & carrying totes (up to 50 lbs.)
🤝 General event support
