Yesterday we were able to go volunteer with the SA Food Bank by giving out race packets for the annual Turkey Trot 5K. This year it will be virtual but you can still register for the event. Your $35 entry fee will help provide over 200 meals to local families and individuals. We are still working on raising funds for the San Antonio Food Bank during this semester. There are two main ways you can get involved with helping us achieve these goals: donating to our fundraising page on the food bank website or by supporting our team that is running in the turkey trot 5k. If you cannot financially support the food bank right now, please consider volunteering and donating your time. Any hours you volunteer can count toward our progress. Just send us a message with when you volunteered. You can also run in the turkey trot 5k and support the food bank that way. The amount of people relying on the food bank has gone up substantially during this pandemic. Think about how YOU can help them at this time. Please share this message with your friends and family and encourage them to get involved.

We have entered as a Fundraising Team for the San Antonio Food Bank Virtual 5k. By clicking the link below, you will be presented with 3 different options (Donate, Join, Register). Donate allows you to donate and support our team that is running the race (100% of proceeds go to the food bank, you can also donate to support individual runners). Join allows you to join our fundraising race team for the 5k where you can encourage others to donate. Register is the final option where you can register to run the 5k and join our team as a runner. The race is virtual and can be run at any time, but if we have enough interest, we might schedule a time for our team to go run down the San Antonio Green Way together (socially distanced of course).

Funniest Pet Photo During Quarantine Competition! We want to announce a photo challenge. We want your funniest picture of your pet/pets that you took during this pandemic. The prize for the chosen winner is a $10 Chick-Fil-A gift card. The rules to join are simple, 1. Donate, 2. Like, 3. Share, 4. Post. Donate at least $5 to the San Antonio Food Bank through our donation link (make sure your donation shows your name), Like and Share our Page, and Post your funny pet pic on our page. All photo submissions must be posted before Friday 10/16 at Midnight. The winner will be announced on Sunday 10/18.
