Premature birth is the leading cause of newborn mortality. Each year over 15 million babies worldwide are born prematurely, with more than 1 million not surviving. In the United States, the ratio for babies born prematurely is 1 in 10.

Since 1972, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, in partnership with the March of Dimes, through its Stork's Nest, a prenatal education program, continue to educate, provide resources, and advocate pregnant women and their support groups to help reduce premature births.

Join us in our efforts to help reduce premature births. How?

1. If you are pregnant, enroll our Stork's Nest Prenatal Education Program. Contact us at Stork's Nest Prenatal Education Program
or [email protected].

2. Serve as an advocate with the March of Dimes.

3. Call your federal and state leaders to ask them to support and policies that support maternal health.
