Homies With Scales Homies with Scales is a non-profit educational outreach for adults and kids alike. We offer a reptile encounter for San Marcos and surrounding areas.

Homies with Scales is an educational program designed to help teach the public about reptiles. It started as a rescue to help animals that outgrew the caring capabilities of their owners. Through years of dedicated work towards keeping reptiles and larger species that typically are abandoned after a few short years of these animals lives, we at Homies with Scales have learned that these animals wh

ich are normally depicted as vicious beasts actually have easy going dispositions. Since learning this we've done our most to help show everyone that these animals aren't the killers Hollywood makes them out to be.
