The Big Give will take place this year on September 23rd and 24th from 6 PM to 6 PM. All donations go directly towards supporting our client services and general operations.

Haven for Hope was thrilled to help Texas Veterans Commission kick off The Commissioners' Grants Across Texas Tour by serving as host for the first Big Check Event last week, as $6,187,000 in grant funds were awarded across 16 grantees in Region 3.

Dr. Byron C. Hepburn, Haven Board Member and Retired US Air Force Major General, warmly welcomed fellow grantees and special guests to Haven's Chapel before introducing TVC Commission Chair, Laura Koerner.

David Maldonado, Veterans Program Director, graciously accepted Haven's own "Big Check" on behalf of the Veteran Services Team.

Haven is honored to be a first-time recipient of Texas Veterans Commission grant funding, which will go towards providing housing and transportation to homeless veterans enrolled on Haven's campus.

Back to School!

Summer is officially over, and all our Haven kiddos are back at school! We love celebrating our clients and all of their accomplishments. This year, we had a fun back-to-school bash and gave our families backpacks, supplies, and clothing items to help them prepare for the school year.

This week, we welcomed 35 community members at Launch San Antonio to share in this discussion about the innovative work happening across our campus every day to help individuals and families experiencing homelessness move toward stability.

We are proud to host these breakfast discussions to help bring our community together to learn more about our partnerships, hear firsthand about the impact of our program, ask questions, and discover meaningful ways to get involved.
