CAM provides food, clothing, utility assistance, prescription medication assistance, identification recovery (ID's and birth certificates), sack lunches for the homeless, a free mail box, and referrals. This work is done through donations of food and clothing, volunteers (over 200 to keep the operation going) and financial contributions.

CAM was so honored to take part in the Baptist Health Foundation podcast doing an interview with the awesome Cody to discuss our CAMpassion Care Program!

The Baptist Health Foundation has been a longtime supporter of CAM and our mission, so to be able to discuss these important topics with Cody was truly awesome.

Make sure and mark your calendars for June 20th on AM 630 at 8:30am to listen in! The podcast will also be available on streaming platforms the following week. We discuss a wealth of knowledge about mental health care and those who seek treatment.

The Center for Health Care Services hosted a mental health awareness conference alongside Bexar County during the month of May - Mental Health Awareness Month. CAM was honored to attend! Our CAMpassion Care Program focuses on untreated mental health for very vulnerable populations and attending this conference helped our team learn so much about this crucial topic.

Reminder, CAM is closed today. We are still committed to serving our unsheltered homeless clients. The downtown location will have the parking lot open from 7:30a to 11:30a for clients to access our porta potties, and we will have volunteers handing out our normal meals in the morning at 9a. 🇺🇸 🦅 🫡

We'd like to give a big shout out and thanks to who had some of their employees come to CAM's downtown campus to work on some much needed repairs to our buildings! These repairs were long overdue, and we're so incredibly thankful that Sundt Construction made this happen for us. It's crucial that our buildings stay in tip top shape so we can continue operating from them. Thank you, Sundt Construction!
