🤝 A SUCCESSFUL AFTERNOON OF FELLOWSHIP! 🦅

Yesterday, Lone Star Consistory No. 113 and Lone Star Assembly No. 113, Order of the Golden Circle, hosted our Joint Meet & Greet, and what a successful afternoon it was!

We were pleased to welcome Master Masons from both the 19th and 23rd Masonic Districts, along with several Sisters from AREME’s Light Chapter No. 90. The afternoon provided an opportunity to fellowship, build relationships, answer questions, and share more about the Scottish Rite and the Order of the Golden Circle.

A sincere THANK YOU to everyone who attended, supported, participated, and helped make the event possible.

This is what growth looks like—being visible, building relationships, and creating opportunities for fellowship.

As we continue moving Lone Star forward:

“We have to be PRESENT to REPRESENT.”

On Saturday, 26 August 2026, GIG Anthony L. Jenkins, 33°, had the honor of placing the 32° cap upon the head of Worshipful Master Joshua Themann, presenting him with his jewel and patent, and formally recognizing him as a Sublime Prince of the Royal Secret.

But this moment was bigger than a cap, a jewel, or a patent.

It represented growth. Commitment. Brotherhood. Leadership. And another step in a Masonic journey that continues to unfold.

To witness a Brother labor in the Craft, lead Pride of San Marcos Lodge No. 494, and then have the privilege of personally presenting him the symbols of his advancement in the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite was a moment I will not soon forget.

Congratulations, SP Joshua Themann, 32°.

Continue to lead. Continue to serve. Continue to seek more Light.

The journey isn’t over.

It’s getting deeper.

Pride has destroyed more leaders than incompetence ever will.

It whispers…

“You don’t need advice.”

“You’re the smartest person in the room.”

“Anyone who disagrees with you is disloyal.”

And that’s when the fall begins.

The most dangerous leader isn’t the one who lacks ability.

It’s the one who believes he has nothing left to learn.

The higher you rise, the more teachable you must become.

This week’s Words of Leadership examines the silent enemy that has toppled kings, CEOs, pastors, politicians, and Masonic leaders alike.

If you’ve become too important to be corrected… you’ve become too dangerous to lead.

By Virtue and Honor, We Lead.

Not every threat to an organization comes from outside.

Some of the greatest damage is done by people who confuse disagreement with disrespect.

Too many have forgotten that you can challenge an idea without attacking a Brother.

You can oppose a motion without opposing the mission.

You can lose a vote without declaring war.

The moment winning the argument becomes more important than protecting the institution, everyone loses.

If every disagreement becomes personal, don’t be surprised when unity becomes impossible.

This week’s Words of Leadership confronts one of the greatest challenges facing organizations today:

Can mature people disagree… without becoming disagreeable?

Read it. Reflect on it. Then ask yourself:

Am I strengthening the Craft—or simply winning arguments?

By Virtue and Honor, We Lead.
