"This is a class for scribes that want to make a black hours style scroll but are intimidated by them. We will go through some period examples of manuscripts on colored parchment/paper. Then we will work through a step by step process creating a sample that you will be able to take home. " There is no cost for the class, but donations are accepted for materials. Lady Sofia Speranza

We'll look at spices featured in the Le Menagier de Paris (1393). This will be part lecture, part hands on as we process spices and do comparisons and tastings. Ceara inghean mhic an Ghabhann
2pm- "Drop Spinning with Lady Richilde zum Hasen
Learn the ancient art of spinning fiber on a drop spindle. Archaeologists have uncovered spindles dating back to 10,000 B.C., and spinning plant or animal fiber into thread is practiced by all ages in cultures across the world. Each student will receive a bit of wool and a keepsake drop spindle to begin their fiber arts journey. Class size limited to 8, ages 10+."

2pm Lady Eva Devereaux Blaand making
Learn about the everyday drink of the Norse and highland cultures- Blaand. A never commercialized whey wine. We will make a batch and taste test some as well. 21+ as this is an alcoholic beverage.
3pm- Introduction to Gluckhaus.
Join us for a fun-filled afternoon of Gluckhaus, a classic German card game that has been enjoyed for centuries. Learn the simple rules and test your luck against friends and family. Open to all ages. Baron Goldweard.
