It seems like all I’m doing these days is getting quilt kits ready to go down to Honduras and then, when I get back, packaging everything up and getting inventory loaded onto the website. I do all of this as a labor of love for my sweet friends in Honduras, and we could truly use your help by making a purchase.

We have more inventory on our website right now than we’ve ever had before, so go check us out at One Common Thread. 💜

Studies show that supportive older brothers can improve younger sisters’ self-esteem, emotional health, and social skills while reducing loneliness and depression. 💜

We had no idea how close these three would become after living in Honduras for three years. Clay shared a room with his little sisters, and what he thought would be an invasion of privacy actually strengthened their bond and brought our family even closer together.

Now the girls miss having Clay in their room to chase away the scary sounds at night. Honduras gave our family so much, which is why we feel such a strong desire to continue giving back.🩷💜 onecommonthread.org

It’s fun to look back at all the videos of my kids helping me with One Common Thread from the very beginning. Each of my children has helped in different ways, whether by making videos, cutting fabric, counting hexagons, packaging orders, or running things to the UPS store for me.

It has truly always been a family affair because these kids know they are making a difference for their friends in Honduras. Come be a part of that change today at One Common Thread. 💜

We are so excited to introduce the One Common Thread Circle — a new way to give monthly and be part of something truly meaningful.

By joining the Circle, you help us plan more effectively and provide consistent, reliable work and support for our Makers. Your monthly donation creates stability for the women we serve and allows us to prepare ahead for their needs.

As a member of the One Common Thread Circle, you’ll also receive special benefits as our way of saying thank you for walking this journey with us.

Take a moment to watch this video and consider becoming a monthly donor today.

When you join the Circle, you’re not just giving — you’re helping us build a future filled with dignity, opportunity, and hope for the women and families we serve.

🩷 It’s so fun to see when things work out perfectly, just as we had hoped. Prayers are answered, miracles do happen, and obviously Collins had her prayer answered as she made this video. You can see her true astonishment when the lightning struck at just the right moment.

How great it is to be in the right place at the right time and to help these Makers down in Honduras. Please help us continue supporting them at One Common Thread. 💜

I’m so ready for the field trips, parties, concerts, recitals, rehearsals for said concerts and recitals, award ceremonies, and everything else that happens in May to be over with! I may just snuggle up with one of my hexi quilts and pretend I have a fever. 😬😂🤪

Check out our hexi quilts at onecommonthread.org.

And technically this video belongs to my comedic son ‘s Instagram, so if you thought it was funny, go give him a follow! And I promise that cheese throwing didn’t hurt Capri. She was all giggles!

Seriously, once I start a quilt kit, I can’t stop. It becomes a little bit of an addiction, and I love that during the summertime I don’t have to be stuck in a sewing room to get things done. I can sit at the beach, by the pool, or at a Fourth of July parade and still get all my sewing done. Pick up your quilt kit today at One Common Thread 💜
