Awesome event today. Roy B. Hodges DAV Chapter and Auxiliary #128 hosted a Suvivors Workshop to provide information for Veterans, their Spouses, and Families when it comes to taking care of affairs in the event of the Veteran’s passing. Great information from Knowledgeable speakers.

Yesterday Roy B. Hodges Unit 128 participated with Flags Across America in placing flags in honor of those who dedicated their lives to fight for our freedom. It was an exhilarating and a blessing to work with so many volunteers in order to have those flags placed in time for Memorial Day. We placed the flags, stepped back, and said their names, thanking them for their service. We have loved ones there and that means while we were speaking the names of someone else’s family member, they were speaking over ours. A collective memory that won’t be the last time.

How DAV Roy B Hodges Chapter 128 and DAVA Unit 128 ended the 2024 year.

Today was amazing. Unit 128 had our first Membership Tea. We hosted an informal event to share what our DAV Auxiliary is about. The pictures tell the story of how we provided a welcoming environment for our guests.
