The Bands of Claudia Taylor Johnson Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing charitable support for the Claudia Taylor Johnson High School band. The goal of the The Bands of Claudia Taylor Johnson Foundation is to create and sustain growth of the Claudia Taylor Johnson band program through a process that engages and invites together like-minded individuals such as pr

ospective, current, and alumni students and families of the CTJ band program. The foundation invites middle school parents and students to interact and learn what to expect from the rigors of a nationally ranked marching arts program like CTJ High School. With the help of the alumni and current band families, the incoming parents can learn what to expect and become part of the CTJ family through interactions and volunteer opportunities as well as the ability to begin advance fundraising for the students that intend to move into the CTJ program.

Read the full statement below:

The Bands of Claudia Taylor Johnson Foundation has made the difficult decision to dissolve the organization in its current form.

Since our founding in 2021, your generosity has made a meaningful impact. Together, we have contributed almost $220,000 to support the Claudia Taylor Johnson High School band — helping fund instruments and equipment, student scholarships, and other essential needs.

Please be assured that all past and recent donations have been transferred in full to the CTJ Band to support its ongoing program and fundraising needs. Additionally, any recurring membership payments or donations associated with your account have been canceled.

What’s Next?
Student alumni who have been involved with the Foundation are actively exploring ways to continue supporting the CTJ Band in the future. We look forward to sharing updates as plans take shape.

Thank you for your support and commitment over the years. Your contributions have made a lasting difference for the students and the band program.

Please join us in congratulating the following students for their outstanding performance!
They competed against multiple schools within our district zone and successfully advanced to the All-Region Round. On December 4th, these talented students will have the opportunity to qualify for the Area Round.
