The Bands of Claudia Taylor Johnson Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing charitable support for the Claudia Taylor Johnson High School band. The goal of the The Bands of Claudia Taylor Johnson Foundation is to create and sustain growth of the Claudia Taylor Johnson band program through a process that engages and invites together like-minded individuals such as pr

ospective, current, and alumni students and families of the CTJ band program. The foundation invites middle school parents and students to interact and learn what to expect from the rigors of a nationally ranked marching arts program like CTJ High School. With the help of the alumni and current band families, the incoming parents can learn what to expect and become part of the CTJ family through interactions and volunteer opportunities as well as the ability to begin advance fundraising for the students that intend to move into the CTJ program.

The Celebration of Life for Darryl Pemberton will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at 4:00 pm at the Piper Bass Center at Blossom Athletic Center (NEISD) in San Antonio.
