Midterm elections matter! Do you know that in Texas less than half of registered voters elect our leaders? 🤯

Don't give up your voice to someone else. Although big races get the headlines, many other offices and propositions on your ballot can shape your taxes, schools and more.

Do some homework to prepare before you make your choices. Visit lwvsa.org for an online Voters Guide and learn where candidate's stand on issues and identify candidates that align most closely with you.

Can you vote if you're on a suspense list? Yes.

If you check in to vote and learn you're on a suspense list, you should be asked to fill out a Statement of Residence.

After filling out this form informing us of your new address or confirming your current address hasn't changed, voters are able to vote a regular ballot.

They are also removed from the Suspense List, once the Statement of Residence form is processed by the Elections office.

Prepare to vote now by viewing the Voters Guide to learn what's on your ballot and where candidates stand on issues. Find one at a local library near you or online at lwvsa.org
