“to glaze… or not to glaze…”
I want it to feel special….our friends aren’t asking for perfect….
they are grateful for a meal, to be seen, and a moment of kindness.
And that is the heart of it…
show up, serve with love,
and feed hunger with dignity.
Glaze or no glaze….
love is always on the menu!

Thank you, Mount Calvary Luthern Church!! They blessed us with an abundance of baked potatoes, and that gift became something deeply comforting….made from scratch potato leek soup…..shared with 32 of our unhoused neighbors in the cool rain.

Simple ingredients. Made with love. Served with dignity.

We are grateful for community partners who trust Garden of Eatin’ to turn surplus into sustenance and compassion into action.

Together, we feed hungry humans.

A heartfelt THANK YOU to Sarah and John for donating the incredible food from their celebration, to Garden of Eatin’. Because of your generosity….beef tenderloin, salmon, tabbouleh, salads, fresh rolls and focaccia…36 friends on the street were able to enjoy a warm, comforting meal in the rain, and they were most grateful!!

Your joyful gathering became a gift that kept giving, and our community felt that love.

This is what caring for others looks like.
This is community.

Because of the cold, events were canceled, but care and generosity were not. Thank you, Erich Menger, for thinking of us and donating a bounty of deliciousness. We were able to feed 37 chicken and rice meals…chicken soup and roasted veggie chili with rolls for 24 additional people. So many happy humans with warm bellies and full hearts!! Thank you for thinking of us!

Big thank you to Mount Calvary Lutheran Church for blessing us today with a huge sandwich donation.
It was cold and rainy and people were hurting, and y’all showed up with food and love.
A lot of hungry humans were fed, and a lot of hearts felt seen.
We are so, so grateful.

A dream….

As we near the end of 2025, we have made the heartbreaking decision that Garden of Eatin’ will also come to a close. Without sustainable funding, we simply cannot continue. It has been a beautiful lesson, and while the work itself will not stop, we can no longer personally pay for things that should be going directly to feed hungry humans. Thank you to the beautiful hearts in this community who supported us, especially Abby, Jim, Dick and Missy, Thank YOU!!

​We've got the menu ready: turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, green beans, rolls, and pie... all made with a heaping serving of love ❤️, but we still need the ingredients!

Thank you yet again to Mount Calvary Lutheran Church for your continued generosity and love. Today, 28 people were blessed with a delicious meal of fajitas, rice, beans, and all the fixings….chips, queso, guacamole, sour cream, pico de gallo, and salsa! Your kindness fills not just plates, but hearts and bellies.
