Happy Mother’s Day to all of the incredible mothers of the South Central Region — and an extra big hug to our magnificent mothers of the Sensational San Antonio Chapter.

On Friday we hosted an evening well spent celebrating the strength, leadership, and brotherhood of the amazing fathers of Jack and Jill San Antonio. The San Antonio Chapter is thrilled to celebrate our four outstanding teens who have been selected to serve on the Inaugural South Central Region Teen Leadership Council. Chosen from nearly 100 applicants across the Region, they were selected to represent the Central Texas Center of Excellence (CTX COE).

In this role, they will collaborate with teen leaders across the South Central Region to develop new ideas, strengthen connections among peers, and help shape regional teen programming.

Amaris, Ngozi, Kennedy, and Madison lead with strong character, consistent effort, and a heart for service in the San Antonio community. This opportunity will sharpen their leadership and expand the impact they make.

Pearls, power, and purpose in the Alamo City.

Today, the Chapter hosted our elegant Founders’ Day Tea, celebrating “Precious Pearls: Rooted in Legacy, Shaping Tomorrow” as we honored the visionary mothers who built our chapter and paved the way for our children’s brilliance.

From heartfelt “Pearls of Wisdom” to a moving Founders’ Day video and uplifting reflections, every moment was a reminder that our legacy is living, growing, and thriving through the next generation of Black excellence in San Antonio.

Cheers to our past presidents, charter members, and families who continue to show up, serve, and shine—today we honored them, tomorrow we follow in their footsteps, and always we keep our pearls polished and our purpose clear.

Last weekend, families showed up and showed out—bundling up for the MLK March, warming hearts (and bellies) with Souper Bowl of Caring donations, and turning up the joy at our “Our Kind of People” culture trivia night. Even when it’s cold outside, our hearts are warm, our impact is real, and our village is strong.

Here’s to a new year of service, sisterhood, and raising culturally aware, community-minded leaders—all kicked off by one powerful January weekend.
