Texas Mentoring Summit Based at the University of Texas at San Antonio, the Texas Mentoring Summit is a program of The Institute for P20 Initiatives.

Based at the University of Texas at San Antonio in the Office of P-20 Initiatives, the emerging Texas Mentoring Partnership works in partnership with MENTOR, the National Mentoring Partnership. The Texas Mentoring Partnership serves as a non-partisan organization that seeks to galvanize a statewide mentoring movement, and seeks to provide the leadership and infrastructure necessary to create and d

eliver on a favorable mentoring climate in Texas. Our network welcomes mentoring organizations in Texas K-12 schools, faith based organizations, community organizations, workplace and higher education institutions serving youth along the entire educational pathway of elementary school through college graduation. It is our hope that this partnership will ultimately leads to system change and expands quality youth-adult mentoring relationships driving increased support, achievement, and opportunity for young people, especially those facing the greatest challenges.
