🚨SUSPECT IN CUSTODY FOR 3 COUNTS OF AGGRAVATED ROBBERY🚨

On February 4, 2026 Officers were dispatched to the 2500 Block of Bandera Road for a Robbery in Progress. Officers were informed of a suspect, later identified as Joshua Barron, 32 YOA, who robbed workers at gunpoint and stole items from the location without payment.

With the assistance of the community, Joshua Barron was taken into custody on 02/06/2026 without incident. The Robbery Task Force Unit would like to extend their appreciation for the communities effort to assist law enforcement in the identification of this offender within just 48 hours of it occurring! 🙏

🚨 : EMERGENCY REQUEST FOR PRAYERS🙏 Corpus Christ Police Officer Identified as 36-Year-Old Alexandria Cano Castro, Fighting for Her Life After Agnes Street Shooting on Friday - Today, we can confirm the identity of the Corpus Christi police officer critically wounded in Friday night’s shooting on Agnes Street.

She is Alexandria Cano Castro, also known as Alley, a 36-year-old CCPD senior officer who remains in critical condition after being shot while responding to a homicide call. According to investigators, the situation escalated in seconds. Alexandria known among fellow officers for her work ethic and calm under pressure was struck during the exchange and rushed into emergency surgery. Sources tell Crónica she has been fighting for her life ever since.

Residents near the scene described chaos, sirens, and officers performing life-saving measures as the shooter was taken into custody.

Tonight, Corpus Christi is shaken. A young officer dedicated to protecting this community now needs the community’s prayers.
