Our Ladies went to Winter Camp at during Dec 27-30! Having a blast and earning 3 merit badges each! They also earned some Frost points ❄️ camping in 23 degree weather! It was very cold but they all made the best of it! ❄️

This week we have one of our Scouts attending the Cherokee Future Leaders program! Next week we will have another Scout attending.

The CFL program is designed to help scouts aged 14 or older to develop communication and leadership skills that could be used in their troop, in school, as a future camp staffer, or in any other areas of life. Though CFL participation is not required of future camp staff members, the visibility of the program and interaction with camp staff does help the camp and program directors when it comes to hiring camp staff- as evidenced by the fact that quite a few of the prior CFL participants are staffers this year.
