Our Louisiana trip did not end the way we had planned but our girls had a blast, nonetheless. From the extreme heat at the fields, to the delicious restaurants, to pool fun in the sun, to meeting one of their idols, Jennie Finch, these girls absolutely loved the trip.
They made some great plays on defense, pitchers pitched their butt off, and our hitters showed out with some big-time timely hits throughout the tournament!
We still have a couple things to clean up before the Internationals, but we are all super proud of the effort that was put forth by every one of our girls.

This morning, our girls began their run at the 2026 Jennie Finch World Series in Sulphur, LA. After some tough pool games, they ended the day with a 2-0 record, earning them the 7th seed out of 36 talented teams from all over the region!
Our girls also got to meet the legend,🥇Jennie Finch! They were so excited!
Bracket starts tomorrow. The girls earned themselves an 11am start time! Catch us on GameChanger! 💙🧡😎

IT’S TRAVEL DAY!!
Today, Hybrid-14 travels to Sulphur, LA, to participate in the Jenni Finch World Series. We're wishing safe travels to our families already on the road and those who will travel throughout the day! Let's Go Hybrid-14! 💙🧡🥎

Late Post:

This past Sunday, our girls competed in the Small-Town Super State tournament. They went undefeated all the way to the championship game, where we went up against a talented Volts team. In a close, competitive battle, with the tying run on 2nd, we could not complete the comeback, falling 3-2, in a great game.
We could not be more proud of this group for never giving up and always playing with heart! They have shown a lot of progress and development this season. Great job ladies🧡💙

The next tournament for our girls will be the Jennie Finch World Series in Sulphur, Louisiana! They are so excited!

Well, our girls came up a little short in Portland yesterday in the semi-finals. In the first semifinal vs Prodigy from Victoria, Hybrid-14 was down 6 runs, when they fought back to take the lead, 7-6. In the last inning, they found themselves down again by 5, 12-7. Only to scratch & claw all the way back to make it 12-11, falling short by one run of completing an epic second comeback. We were all extremely proud of the effort and heart that they displayed in that game!
The next game was their second opportunity to make it to the championship vs another tough team, Texas Arsenal. Our girls once again found themselves down by 5 going into the last inning. In the middle of yet another epic comeback, with the bases loaded, down by 3, our big slugger, Bella, hits an absolute 🚀 that was surely to headed to the fence to clear the bases. Unfortunately, the Arsenal SS made an amazing catch & double play at second to slow the rally. Our next hitter, hits a line drive into the center fielders glove to end our great tournament run.
What a weekend of some great competitive softball games! We came home with 3rd place but we could not be more proud of this group of ballers! Great job ladies!!💙🧡
