Get ready to roll, NEISD! 🚌

Bus route information for the 2026-2027 school year is available. Families can find their student’s bus stop location, bus number, and pick-up and drop-off times online.

And don’t forget about the SMART tag Parent Portal app! Families can sign up for text notifications, including alerts when the bus is nearby and when their student gets on and off the bus.

Find bus routes, SMART tag information and other transportation resources at neisd.net/transportation.

We’re looking forward to another great year of getting our students where they need to go safely!

North East ISD makes gains and improves as we enter the 2026-2027 school year.

Our students continue to out-perform the state average on the STAAR test. This achievement isn’t just hitting a benchmark. It’s students building knowledge, skills and confidence by consistently putting in the work to reach their goals.

The percentage of students reaching “Meets” level in STAAR continues to grow by 2% each year. That’s consistent growth.

Our educators teach students with different strengths and needs and develop strategies that help every student grow and achieve success. Fifty percent of our teachers have more than 10 years of experience.

We also understand that we aren’t just entrusted with young minds. We are also entrusted with financial resources. Our District has once again earned a Superior Achievement rating – the highest possible score – from the Texas Education Agency (TEA) in the Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas. This is an achievement we’ve consistently reached for over 20 consecutive years for our focus on responsible stewardship.

Our District’s overall rating from the TEA is a B – growing by three points over the previous year.

As we begin a new school year, these accomplishments give us a strong foundation to build on. There is always more work to do, but we enter this year confident in our staff, encouraged by our students’ progress and focused on making a difference together.
