Today Hacer210 made an impact on the students at Holmes High School.

Can you dream about the windchill being 24 degrees outside today? It's happening. In the next 24-48hrs, the wind chill will reach that temperature and even lower. San Antonio is bracing for a cruel bitter couple of days ahead.

Can you dream about not having a jacket when it is that cold outside? You may have a sweatshirt...but not an actual jacket to keep you truly warm.

Too many teenagers are dreaming about staying warm tonight. We wanted to fix that today. Twenty-four students received jackets today. That's twenty-four students that have been equipped to dream bigger this weekend.

Imagine being a teenager quarantining during the holidays. Both of your parents and a sibling are struggling with Corona virus, and they are staying in their bedroom to keep you safe. You are in charge of watching your younger siblings in the living room. You are making sure groceries are in the house, answering the door, and overseeing everything that happens. You are a distance learner, helping your sibling study, and you are involved in extracurricular activities at school. You get a ride to the pharmacy for your family, and you continue to try to stay hopeful.

You decide you want to celebrate Christmas...but everything is in your parents' room so you can’t open the door due to possible corona contamination for you and your brother. Meanwhile, all of your friends are talking about celebrating and decorating.

This is why we created Hacer210. Tonight we were able to give this high schooler Christmas! We delivered a new Christmas tree, lights, decorations, and a bbq feast!

This was a tremendous opportunity to equip this student to pursue her dreams during the holiday season. There are so many other hurting families that are lonely and dreamless without hope this Christmas. We told this student that Santa will be dropping some presents off at Christmas this year for her and her brothers. Hacer210 was created for this family and so many more!
