You didn’t come this far to coast to the finish line.

The enemy would love for you to settle, slow down, or lose focus in the final stretch. But God didn’t call you to start strong and fade away. He called you to endure, persevere, and finish the race He set before you.

Keep showing up. Keep trusting. Keep taking the next faithful step!

Finish strong! God is not done writing your story! 💪🔥

Huge honor to have and for showing love 🤝

One of the coolest things about Texas is the culture, the people, the stories, the community…and seeing platforms like Texas Eats celebrate that so well is always special.

is right around the corner, and we’re believing this is going to be more than just an event. We believe God is going to move in a real way in the lives of students and young adults this summer.

The best is yet to come 🔥

Today we remember the courage, sacrifice, and selflessness of the men and women who gave their lives for our freedom.

Memorial Day is more than a long weekend. It’s a reminder that freedom always costs something.

As we honor those who served with great courage, may we also live with gratitude, humility, and purpose. John 15:13 says, “Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”

Today, pause. Pray for Gold Star families. Thank God for the freedoms we often take for granted. And may we never forget the legacy of those who gave everything.

There are a Gazillion reasons why I love cheering for the ! But at the top of the list right now is this moment I got to watch live watching our franchise player Dab up my son .newton4 coming through the tunnel after a incredible performance by him and our team!

This moment speaks volumes of what our team represents, who are players are, how our organization operates, what our city stands for…. GO SPURS GO!

The quote of the night from my son in a text.

From Lawson when we texted him how cool it was: “ik yea act like it’s normal to dap up wemby😂😭”

Stop drifting.
Stop second guessing.
Stop living unanchored.

Doubt will have you moving everywhere…
but going nowhere.

It’ll mess with your confidence.
It’ll distort your identity.
It’ll delay your obedience.

You don’t need more feelings.
You need a decision.

Lock it down.

Anchor your faith.
Stand on truth.
Move forward with confidence.

Ok…. this is not my thing. I love hip hop and I’m not backing down from that ever.

However, as I preached on the Song of Moses out of Exodus 15 that reoccurs in Revelation 15, I noticed something.

Israel didn’t build a monument on the other side of the Red Sea. They belted out a song in freedom and deliverance.

I just felt the moment needed a melody and in my mind it warranted “Lose Yourself” from Eminem.

All weekend I just read it the best I could, but at our 2PM service I just went for it… and here it is.

Call me silly. Call me corny. Call me hokey. But one thing I’ve learned through my own Red Sea battles is this: God is worthy of my undignified praise for all He has done.

I will always be a fool for Christ.

I can’t stop thinking about this message.

What if worship was never just about music…but about remembering what God has already brought YOU through?

WHEW.

In Exodus 15, after the Red Sea split and the enemy was defeated, the people of God began to sing. Not before the battle. AFTER they saw the faithfulness of God.

And this point hit me hard:
Sometimes God doesn’t just give you a memorial…He gives you a melody.

That’ll preach.

Because there are battles in life where you don’t need another stone to stack up and remember…you need a song you can carry into the NEXT battle.

“The Lord is my strength.”
“The Lord is my salvation.”
“The Lord is a warrior.”

I don’t know who this is for, but maybe the worship coming out of your mouth today isn’t supposed to be passive. Maybe it’s supposed to remind your soul that the same God that delivered you then is the same God that will deliver you now.

Some of yall have been battle tested.
You’ve been through some stuff.
And somehow God keeps proving Himself faithful again and again and again.

Don’t stop believing.
Don’t lose hope.
And don’t forget who fights your battles.

Really grateful for moments like this.

Today I had the opportunity to spend some time with my guy David Elder from , and I just want to publicly say how much I appreciate him and the entire KSAT team. In a world where people can use platforms for all kinds of things, it’s refreshing to meet people that are genuine, humble, encouraging, and just great human beings.

David is the real deal. From the moment we sat down, you could feel his heart for people, his love for this city, and the joy he carries into every conversation. The kindness, professionalism, and intentionality from him and the entire crew made today really special.

San Antonio is blessed to have voices and personalities like this representing our city.

Also…let me just say this 😂 Elder Eats definitely lived up to the hype!!

Grateful for the invitation, grateful for the conversations, and grateful for new friendships and connections along the way. Make sure yall show David and KSAT some love and tune in next Wednesday around 10:30am!!
