CLOSURE OF SAN ANTONIO, TX #744
Attention Ladies & Gentlemen, Lodges & Chapters of TMA;
Well unfortunately, it’s been made official … SAN ANTONIO, TX LODGE #744 was closed last week by the Moose International Board of Directors.
I have been named the custodian (keeper of the keys) of the facility at this time by AD Troy King until the building is sold.
With both things above being said, I will be making an announcement later this week for a time/day (or two if needed) next week, for lodges/chapters (first choice) & members to come to the lodge to make purchases of the remaining lodge items (furniture, office supplies, kitchen items, etc.)
I will likely take a couple of days with varying hours so that everyone can come to the lodge to pick out things. I’ll be going to the lodge this week to make a preliminary list of the major things that will be available.
I will only take CHECKS from the lodge/chapter … all others will be CASH only. No items will be held without the unit contacting me to make arrangements in advance. All funds collected will be remitted to Moose International & checks should be made payable to them.
Bring your own trucks/trailers, etc. as it will be a take away situation … not sure how long it will be before MI & the relator have the lodge scheduled for a full cleaning & put it up for sale.
