Adoptable Dogs: K9s For Warriors Texas This page is managed by the K9FW Placement Team showcasing our adoptable dogs in TEXAS. and 3:30 p.m. and some Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.

• We require all potential adopters to fill out and submit an adoption application, https://bit.ly/TXAdoptApp. We get a large number of applications daily so after you submit your application, please email [email protected] stating which dog you are interested in.

• Once you find a dog you are interested in, email us at [email protected] or message us here on Facebook

. We will schedule a meet and greet on our campus where you will get to meet the dog(s) of your choice.

• We require all dogs and members of the household to accompany you during the meet and greet. If it is a perfect match, an adoption agreement and microchip form will be signed, transition food will be provided along with medical records, and you will be able to take your new addition home for free!

• We offer appointments Monday - Friday between 8 a.m. where you would be able to speak with an adoption specialist to ask questions and meet the dog(s) of your choice.

• All dogs on this page eligible for adoption are NOT eligible to be Service Dogs. If you are interested in a Service Dog and qualify for our program, please fill out our Warrior Application, https://apply.k9sforwarriors.org/

It's time to meet the face behind the ears! 😍

Chica | 2 years old | 45 lbs. | Kelpie Mix

Small in size, but large in personality - and extremely not boring! Fun is her love language - and to Chica fun comes from training sessions and toy time. She learns fast, loves a good squeaker toy, and brings a whole lot of spark to every room she walks into. ✨ Cuddles come in time, but she’ll win your heart through focus, fun, and the kind of s***k that keeps life interesting. She’s done well with people and other dogs so far, but her rough-and-tumble style means she’s not the best fit for young kids. Chica would make a great jogging partner, trick dog or hiking pal. ⛰

Fostering a Service Dog in training is more than just giving them a home—it’s giving them a chance to succeed. For dogs like Zeus and Judith, our foster families are a vital part of the journey, offering love, in-home experiences, and a well-earned break for both future Service Dogs and adoptable career-changed dogs.

But fostering isn’t the only way to get involved! You can:

Bubbles can be a fun enrichment activity for dogs, offering movement, scent, and excitement! Just remember: some pups may be unsure at first, so giving them time to sniff and investigate helps build confidence—just like Saturn did.
