Five people showed up to vote at my polling location a week ago. Actually, four people showed up, one vote was mine.

Bexar County voters make me want to cry. Non-voters might as well just bend us all over to take whatever they're going to give us.

I will no longer ATTEMPT to participate in conversation by fraud Conservative American Patriots. One of the TOP priorities of Republicans and Conservatives is free speech. Anyone claiming to be a Conservative who opens a public forum for political discussion, and then closes the discussion to some people and tells you how/when/what you may think or speak about is a fraud.

Even among us are sympathizers of evil. We have to be careful who we assimilate with if we can't trust their judgement to protect our interests and not be fooled into letting in those whose life goal is to harm us. 😑

In his first inaugural address on March 4, 1801, Thomas Jefferson laid out 16 "essential principles of our government". He believed these ideas should guide the nation's administration and serve as a "creed of our political faith".

1. Equal and exact justice to all men: Advocating for impartial justice for everyone, regardless of beliefs.
2. Peace, commerce, and honest friendship with all nations, entangling alliances with none: Promoting peaceful trade and diplomacy while avoiding permanent alliances.
3. Support of the state governments in all their rights: Emphasizing the importance of state governments for domestic matters and protection against anti-republican tendencies.
4. Preservation of the General Government in its whole constitutional vigor: Maintaining the strength of the federal government for national peace and security.
5. A jealous care of the right of election by the people: Vigilantly protecting the people's right to vote as a peaceful way to address abuses.
6. Absolute acquiescence in the decisions of the majority: Upholding majority rule as the core of republics, seeing the alternative as leading to despotism.
7. A well-disciplined militia: Advocating for a militia as the primary defense during peacetime and early conflict.
8. The supremacy of the civil over the military authority: Ensuring civilian control over the military.
9. Economy in the public expense: Promoting limited government spending to avoid excessive taxation.
10. The honest payment of our debts: Committing to faithfully paying government debts.
11. Encouragement of agriculture, and of commerce as its handmaid: Supporting agriculture and commerce that serves farming interests.
12. The diffusion of information and arraignment of all abuses at the bar of the public reason: Encouraging the spread of information and public exposure of power abuses.
13. Freedom of religion: Protecting the freedom of religious practice without government interference.
14. Freedom of the press: Ensuring the press can publish without censorship.
15. Freedom of person under the protection of the habeas corpus: Protecting individuals from unlawful imprisonment.
16. Trial by juries impartially selected: Guaranteeing the right to an unbiased jury trial.
