𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐑𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲𝐬 are neighborhood gatherings within flood affected areas to encourage connecting with your neighbors. This disaster showed us the importance of knowing your neighbors and being able to rely on one another for help. ⁣

Tomorrow, June 24th the Community Organizations Active in Disaster will be meeting at Concho Valley Council of Governments Training Room, 2430 Link Road starting at 10AM.

In this meeting we will be discussing the following:
- What COAD is and the role it plays in our community
- Why preparedness and resilience matter
- How blue-sky planning supports future disaster coordination
- Ways community partners can work together before disaster occurs
- Recruiting new members to the COAD

If you or your organization is interested in participating in future disaster response, we encourage you to attend this meeting! Excited to see you all there.

Concho Valley Together is hosting a Hygiene & Diaper Drive to support households who are still in their recovery process from the July 4, 2025 flooding.

Shampoo / Conditioner / Body Wash
Deodorant

Our community is strongest when we show up for one another. 💙 We are still in active recovery from the July 4th, 2025 flood and there are so many ways you can make a difference. We have roles for everyone!

With the 1 year anniversary of the flood, we have created both English and Spanish peer groups where you can share your experience and connect with other families. This event is not something to be ashamed of... we care and want to help you in your recovery process and that includes your emotional wellness.

English Peer Group meets on Mondays at 6PM at the 1st Presbyterian Church, 32 N. Irving St.

Spanish Peer Group meets on Wednesdays at 10AM at Concho Valley Turning Point, 528 E. Highland Blvd.
