San Angelo STAY Together Program The Stay Together Program delivers services to families with children/youth 0-17 years of age, who are experiencing runaway, truant, or delinquent behaviors.

Youth and families experiencing family conflict are also eligible for these services. In-Home Visits – The one-on-one interaction that occurs with the families takes place in their home at a time that is convenient to them. On average, in-home visits occur every two weeks throughout the service period. If the family is in need of more assistance additional in-homes will be scheduled. Providing ser

vices in the home and at a time convenient to the family reduces the disruption to the youth and family. Parents do not have to miss work, and the youth can remain in school. Typically, in-home visits result in families being more relaxed, resulting in more productive sessions. Our direct care staff is also able to provide more effective suggestions, since they have a better understanding of the family's situation. "This program has helped me in many ways. Workshops – Every two weeks youth and parent skills workshops are provided throughout our service area. These workshops teach the core components of the curriculum that we provide. Workshops also create an environment of learning. Participants learn from one another, and in many cases learn how to address and prevent these situations before it occurs in their own home. Families providing their own transportation to workshops also receive a ten dollar gas card to assist with travel expenses.
