Junior League of San Angelo is proud to celebrate the blessing of San Angelo’s Safe Haven Baby Box! We were honored to play a role in helping bring this lifesaving resource to our community along with the partnership and dedication from San Angelo Fire Department, Safe Haven Baby Boxes, Melanie Wood, and many others.

These boxes provide a safe, secure, and anonymous way for a parent in crisis to surrender an unharmed newborn, giving both baby and parent a compassionate path forward when they feel they have nowhere else to turn. Today marks the 23rd Safe Haven Baby Box in Texas and we are honored to celebrate this resource in our community! ❤️

The Junior League of San Angelo is incredibly proud to have played a role in helping bring the Safe Haven Baby Box to San Angelo in collaboration with the San Angelo Fire Department. This project represents a shared commitment to creating a safe, anonymous, and compassionate option for mothers while also protecting vulnerable newborns in our community.

A big thank you to our 2025-2026 past president, Anna Augustin, whose leadership was crucial in moving this project forward. We are so thankful for everyone who has worked to turn this vision into a reality! We look forward to celebrating the blessing and official unveiling of the Safe Haven Baby Box at Central Fire Station on Monday, October 5th at 10am. ❤️
