Assumption of the Virgin Mary Orthodox Church

Assumption of the Virgin Mary Orthodox Church San Angelo's Eastern Orthodox Church Assumption Parish is the local community of the ancient Orthodox Church in San Angelo, Texas.

We trace our origins to Christ and the Apostles and hold firm to the faith and traditions that have been once and for all delivered to the Saints. We are made up of descendants of immigrants and many converts to the faith. Over half of our congregation is not of Greek origin, yet it honors and maintains the faith the original members brought to this land from their native countyr. Our services are

conducted in English, and we have many opportunities for individuals and families to learn and grow in spirit and in truth.
