Remembering the service members who were prisoners. Raul Santos Garivay. He served his country in World War II. While serving, he was captured and sent to a POW camp in Germany. After the war he was a member of the American Ex-Prisoners of War, Disabled American Veterans, Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion.

On National POW/MIA Recognition Day, we honor the service members who were prisoners of war and remember those who remain missing.

Their sacrifice will never be forgotten.

Thank you to everyone who came out to meet Matthew today! The event was a great success. A special thank you to all the organizations that participated, offered resources, and showed their support for our veteran community. Your partnership and commitment make a difference.
While today was a wonderful step forward, there is still much work to be done. Many veterans remain unaware of the benefits and services available to them. Together, we can continue to connect veterans and their families with the resources they have earned and deserve. Thank you again for helping make this event a success!
