As many of us begin to remove our masks, make travel plans, and rekindle our relationships life finally feels as though it is getting back to what it was before the pandemic. With the promise of normal edging ever closer, it’s all too easy to forget that the situation outside of ou

r home could not be more bleak. Currently, there are countries whose health care systems are crumbling under the weight of the COVID-19 infectedpopulation, increasing death rates and, in some worrisome cases, spawning new variants of the virus; unfortunately. Nepal is no exception. Whether it is the local Lions Club, Jaycees, or the Red Cross helping him create plans for services; his sister, Rebekah Ocker, assisting his health fairs and educational programs; his friends and local clubs who have already provided over 2,000 knitted hats and produced another 1,000 during the pandemic; or a philanthropist/CEO from Florida who agreed to match all donations to the foundation up to $25,000, Terry is indeed truly blessed to have such a big-hearted support network. Despite this immense amount of kindness, Terry continues the fight for progress in Nepal, because he knows precisely how important his continued work is. This is only emphasized by the fact he continues to operate from his home and without a paid staff so that 100% of the gifts he receives can go to the cause—and the results, honestly, speak for themselves. He has delivered food in the form of rice and cooking essentials, a new school, sanitation stations, health through knowledge, education through solar energy and light, and finally warmth through clothing to some of the most impoverished, and oft forgotten, communities in the region. Terry is planning a trip in August/September 2021. This initiative seeks to furnish essential school supplies and backpacks to underprivileged children in rural villages, facilitating their access to education. We are pleased to announce that our 139th project in Nepal is scheduled to commence in June 2026. This year, we will be joined by my friends Robbie and his son Daniel. A significant number of projects that were postponed last fall due to unrest in Nepal are now slated for completion. With a new prime minister in office, progress is being made. Our travel plans involve flying west to Hong Kong and then proceeding to Nepal, thereby avoiding unstable regions. Terry Mikeska Work Committed Society Nepal

I am thrilled to declare the launch of my 139th project in Nepal, slated for the first week of June 2026, in conjunction with Pastor Robbie and his son Daniel from Wall Brethren Church. Despite encountering challenges, numerous projects that faced delays are now making significant progress toward completion. Under the stewardship of Nepal's new prime minister, the country is displaying encouraging signs of development. In order to ensure a smooth passage, travel arrangements have been made to fly to Hong Kong via China en route to Nepal, bypassing unstable regions in the Middle East. All travel tickets have been confirmed, and preparations are currently in motion. Terry Mikeska Foundation, Terry Mikeska Wall Brethren Church, Work Committed Society Nepal, ,
