SAN ANGELO LIONS CHARITIES EYE GLASS RECYCLE CENTER will be having a WORK DAY, 3-21-2026, from 9am-Noon. We have a shipment to be worked and need few things done around the building as well. You don't have to be a Lion to Volunteer. COME JOIN US, learn a little about what we do.

San Angelo Lions Charities is looking for someone to assist with putting tubes in bicycle tires. We have some handicapped bikes that need replacements. We have the equipment, just need the assistance with the work.

Please call 325-227-4350 if you would be interested in doing a little Volunteer work and assisting with the bicycles.

Your SALC Vision Screening Teams have been diligently working since August VISION Screening children throughout the Concho Valley. Thru the end of October we have screened over 2700 children and many adults as well.

There are also Vision Screening teams in Midland, Big Spring, Sweetwater, Llano and Kingsland who are working. So many children who need screened and so few to carry out that task in the
25 counties that our District covers.

A special "Thank You" to PDG Jerry Bentley for coming down into our District and helping Vision Screen in the Santa Anna, Panther Creek and Coleman areas.

Kuddos to those who have been working hard and to those who are taking, or have taken, the State Training and Vision Camera Training to meet the state regulations to do the Volunteer work that we do.
