Now that the dust has settled we cannot help but share our experience with you all.

Friday, June 5 the YMCA held its largest fundraiser to date and it was and it was definitely one to remember.

It was unconventional, it often times raised eyebrows but it was an event that will be remembered for a long time.

The San Angelo Community Orchestra joined the stage with Texas Hip-hop legend Paul Wall to create an experience like no other, bringing people from two different worlds together for the same reason! Putting on a next level production that would raise money for our youth.

Slim Thug and Chalie Boy took the stage to added to the excitement. San Angelo’s very own Henry Garza made a surprise appearance that was a true depiction of what it means to come together as a community and he rocked out on the guitar.

Take a look at some of the work that went on behind the scenes and the beautiful moments during. The work that went into making this idea a complete production was more than we could have expected but man was it worth it.

Thank you Sonora Bank for believing in our mission, thank you Sidney Walker for leading this initiative and thank you San Angelo for showing up! We were very close to a sold out crowd!
