October 9th 2020 -- Drainage Ditches stop up in the Town of Samburg still causing flooding with the Town government doing nothing about it - this winter alot of street will be flooded due to a lot of landowners do not want a drainage ditch around the lots or property - so they fill the ditches in with dirt & trash etc.

The Town of Samburg is located on the east shoreline of Reelfoot Lake and sets 285' feet above Sea Level on the USGS gauge - Normal Lake Pool Level of Reelfoot Lake is 283' feet mean sea level (msl) - this level is set by the USFWS & TWRA under Tennessee State Law -- Under TN State Law -- the high water mark is 285' feet (msl). Most if not all Town culverts are undersize and full of leaves etc. are stop up due to the lack of Town government oversite. Town Mayor is responsible and not doing his duty as required under the Town Charter - Chief Manager of the Town. 🧐🧐🧐
